About Me

    Hey, I'm Nipun Fernando. I studied programming at Humber College and went on to finish a CS degree at Trent University. These days I work as a fullstack developer, mostly in JavaScript and TypeScript, with React and Node depending on what the project needs. I care a lot about making apps that actually make sense to the people using them, not just the ones building them.

    At Xenon Innovations I help build and maintain fullstack applications, handle Docker for deployments, and connect APIs into dashboards and internal tools. At Estée Lauder I work on the fulfillment side, building workflow automation with Power Apps and Power Automate backed by SQL. That work is less about polished interfaces and more about reducing delays and giving the floor team better visibility into what's happening day to day.

    On the side I've built Expensor for document and expense tracking, Mediscreen for managing digital displays, and Omi Card Game in Unity with online multiplayer. I also run a small 3D printing shop called V-AXIS LAB on Shopify. When I'm not at a computer I'm usually playing guitar, watching movies, or spending time with friends.
